Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) – NQF Level 4
- Computer literacy is essential
Added Advantage:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Administrative or Clerical Experience
Knowledge & Skills Required for Grants Administrator
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- High attention to detail
- Familiarity with grant application processes
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) – Chapter 6, Part 3
- Documentation and quality control expertise
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of social grants at the local office
- Screen and capture grant applications into the system
- Deliver front-line customer care and resolve grant queries
- Handle and process all grant-related documentation
- Perform quality control and administrative follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations including PFMA

- Appointment subject to background checks: qualifications, criminal record, and credit history
- Equity preferences will be applied per office needs
- Foreign qualifications must be verified by SAQA
