  • Salary: R228,321 – R268,950 per annum (excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) – NQF Level 4
  • Computer Literacy
  • Added Advantage:
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Administrative/Clerical experience

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and administrative accuracy
  • Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • Quality control and documentation handling
  • Grant application processes and social assistance systems

 Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in social grant administration at local office
  • Screen and capture grant applications
  • Deliver customer service and handle enquiries
  • Process and manage grant-related documents
  • Conduct quality control on all grant applications
  • Ensure full compliance with PFMA (Chapter 6, Part 3)

  • Appointments are subject to pre-employment screening (qualification, criminal, ITC checks)
  • Preference will be given to equity candidates per location
  • Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA
