Duties & Responsibilities
Input Processing
- Monitor and validate payroll input submissions.
- Capture staff movements (new starters, transfers, promotions, and terminations).
- Verify claims for travel, overtime, and additional work.
- Process corrections and bank detail updates.
- Assist with payroll audits and risk identification.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with HR regarding payroll deadlines.
- Respond to payroll-related queries.
- Coordinate payroll approval processes.
Reporting & Documentation
- Compile monthly payroll input registers.
- Report on employee banking changes.
- Save supporting payroll documents for compliance.
Benefits Administration
- Process onboarding for medical aid and insurance.
- Manage offboarding for benefits when staff exit.
- Assist with disability, death, and ill-health benefit administration.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualifications:
- Matric/Grade 12 (Required)
- Diploma in Administration/HR (Advantage)
- Certificate in Payroll Administration (Advantage)
- Experience:
- 5 years in computerized payroll administration
- Experience in computerized HR administration
- Skills:
- Advanced MS Excel and MS Office proficiency
