Candidates will be required to sign a performance agreement and comply with employment equity goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (both posts)
  • No experience required
  • Driver’s license is an added advantage
  • For Pretoria: A three-year relevant qualification (NQF Level 6, 360 credits, SAQA-recognized) is advantageous

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1.Mbombela High Court – Registrar’s Clerk

  • Support case flow management and general court administration
  • Attend to stakeholder enquiries and correspondence
  • Proper filing, safekeeping, and archiving of court records
  • Administer appeals, petitions, and leave to appeal processes
  • Upload and update case information on registrar tools, court online, and Caseline
  • Prepare and submit court statistics, maintain civil and criminal registers
  • Provide general administrative support as required by Chief Registrar or Court Manager

2.Pretoria High Court – Registrar’s Clerk

  • Register and allocate case numbers to pleadings and court documents
  • Update files, record documents received, and monitor case management
  • Retrieve requested files and maintain movement sheets
  • Attend to public and litigant queries
  • Maintain registers for filing and archiving
  • Assist with administrative HR processes, leave forms, and performance agreements
  • Implement case management practices effectively
