Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Phlebotomy Learnership 2026, applicants must:
- Have Grade 12 with:
- A minimum of 50% in Life Sciences or 60% in Human and Biological Sciences
- Mathematics ≥ 40% or Mathematical Literacy ≥ 60%
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID
- Be fluent in English and understand basic Afrikaans
- Be aged between 18 and 35
- Have no criminal record
- Be willing to work shifts and after hours

Key Duties and Responsibilities
During the Phlebotomy Learnership 2026, learners will:

- Practice infection control and patient care techniques
- Engage in administrative and clerical lab duties
- Follow lab safety, medical ethics, and privacy protocols
- Complete all practical assessments and theoretical exams
