Salary: R107 196 per annum
Location: Cape Town Regional Office
Requirements:
- Grade 10 / Standard 8/ Junior Certificate or Abet Level 4 Certificate with 1 year experience OR Grade 8 with 2 years of experience in general garden maintenance
- Interpersonal and basic literacy skills
- Previous experience in operating machinery is an advantage
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the premises and surroundings
- Performing general garden maintenance tasks as instructed by the supervisor (planting, pruning, paving, watering, mowing, tree felling, etc.)
- Maintaining flower beds and weeding
- Removing garden refuse and loading it onto a truck for transportation to the dumping site
- Performing chainsaw or mowing duties when required
- Ensuring adherence and compliance with occupational and health standards
