Driver for Horticultural Services Facilities Management

Salary: R128 166 per annum

Location: Cape Town Regional Office

Requirements:

• Grade 10 / Standard 8/ Junior Certificate or Abet Level 4 Certificate
• Three years of experience in transporting horticulture goods and workers
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
• Experience in leading a team of workers and giving instructions
• Good communication skills
• Possession of a heavy duty license (C1 and PDP)

Responsibilities:

• Transportation of employees and horticultural goods
• Traveling to long-distance areas for plot cleaning and firebreaks
• Supervision of lorry assistance
• Removal of garden refuse and offloading to dumping site
• Receiving instructions from supervisor and reporting back
• Reporting disciplinary matters to supervisor
• Supporting supervisor and colleagues
