Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Enrolled Nursing qualification
- Possess an active registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- BLS qualification advantageous
- Experience in critical care unit
- Prior experience in a private hospital environment advantageous
- Computer literacy advantageous
Minimum Job Requirements
As a Clinix Enrolled Nurse ICU, you will:
- Carry out nursing responsibilities in compliance with SANC regulations, Department of Health guidelines, and National Core Standards
- Uphold patient advocacy principles according to SANC Acts, Company Code of Conduct, and Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter
- Plan, organize, assess, and prioritize work efficiently under supervision of a registered nurse
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and clean ICU environment free from medico-legal hazards
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records of all pharmaceuticals used
- Accurately document and administer medications in line with established clinical standards
- Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance knowledge and skills
Competencies and Skills Required
- Knowledge of ICU and critical care nursing procedures
- Patient advocacy and adherence to SANC standards
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize nursing duties efficiently
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
