Requirements
- Grade 12 plus NQF Level 6 qualification in Animal Health or equivalent
- No experience required
- Registration with the South African Veterinary Council as Animal Health Technician
- Valid driver’s licence (except persons with disabilities)
Skills Required

Duties Responsibilities
Candidates appointed for Animal Health Technician Jobs will:
- Render Animal Health Regulatory Support Services in line with the Animal Diseases Act
- Implement animal disease control measures
- Support State Veterinarians in disease control, reproduction, production advancement, sample collection, and law enforcement
- Assist in extension services on animal health to animal owners
- Perform administrative duties including databases and monthly and quarterly reports
