Requirements
To qualify for the YES Youth Opportunity Programmes, applicants should have:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 28 years old
- Grade 10 (Minimum Requirement)
- Matric (Advantageous)
- Be available to work on a 12-month fixed-term contract
- Not have been permanently employed by one employer for longer than one continuous year
- Not be studying full-time during the programme period (April 2026 – March 2027)
- Not have previously participated in or been registered on the YES Programme
- Be responsible for personal accommodation and transportation where applicable
