Minimum Requirements

Applicants for the YES Youth Opportunity 2025 must:

  • Be aged 18–28 years old.
  • Have a minimum of Grade 10, Matric preferred.
  • Be available for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
  • Should not have been employed continuously by one employer for more than 1 year.
  • Not be studying full-time during the year of employment (April 2025 – March 2026).
  • Not previously participated or registered on the YES programme.
  • Arrange own accommodation and transportation if applicable.
  • Preference given to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
