Position Details
- Grade 12 / Matric (compulsory)
- South African citizen
- Willing to work flexible retail hours
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Clean criminal and credit record
Preferred:
- Previous experience in beauty, retail, or cosmetics environment
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Excellent grooming and personal presentation
- Good understanding of sales targets and customer engagement
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Attention to detail and basic financial understanding
- Trustworthy, self-motivated, and proactive
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the Retail Cosmetics Learnership, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:
🔹 Stock Management
- Monitor expiry dates and report low or expired stock
- Keep stockrooms clean, organized, and compliant
- Participate in regular stock takes and follow rotation processes
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and correctly labeled
🔹 Merchandising
- Keep displays fresh, clean, and eye-catching
- Support promotional efforts like makeovers and product demonstrations
- Label all items correctly and ensure accurate pricing
- Ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards
🔹 Customer Service
- Deliver outstanding, friendly service to all customers
- Assist customers without pressuring them to switch brands
- Process purchases accurately at the Cosmetics POS counter
- Handle stock-related customer queries promptly
