Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Coca-Cola Quality Assurance Internship, applicants must meet the following:

  • South African citizen (with valid ID)
  • Between 18–35 years old
  • Passed Grade 12 with:
    • Mathematics & Physical Science (minimum 40%)
    • Two South African languages (minimum 40%)
  • Studying toward a qualification in:
    • Microbiology
    • Biotechnology
    • Food Technology
    • Or a similar field
  • Completed all theoretical modules and require practical exposure
  • No prior in-service training at another organization
  • Must be unemployed and from an Employment Equity background
  • Must provide a letter from the institution requesting in-service training

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Understanding of food science, microbiology, chemistry, and laboratory methods
  • Report writing and attention to detail
  • Time management and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment
  • High energy, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
