Minimum Requirements
- Minimum matric with exemption, including Mathematics (Pure) and Accounting or Physical Science
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Mathematics, or Statistics is preferred
- Strong MS Word and MS Excel skills

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Internal Processes
- Screen and analyze new and existing business pricing requests as part of the Intern Group Insurance Pricing responsibilities
- Gather and assess information for new business tenders and existing business premium rate reviews
- Calculate retirement-related fees, risk rates, and underwriting requirements using pricing tools
- Determine suitable terms and conditions for risk management
- Prepare accurate quotation and rate review documents for clients
- Extract, validate, and manipulate data for reporting and business intelligence
- Collaborate internally with the Group Insurance Pricing department for technical support
Client Engagement
- Build strong relationships with sales channels to retain profitable existing business and secure new business as an Intern Group Insurance Pricing intern
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure knowledge of relevant acts and regulations
- Monitor and deliver on service level agreements
- Resolve client queries and track complaints, identifying trends and solutions
People & Team Collaboration
- Enhance Momentum’s image through professional liaison with departments, brokers, employers, members, and reinsurers
- Support client retention and acquisition via excellent customer service
- Provide technical pricing guidance to the Sales Channel and other departments
Finance
- Ensure pricing rates mitigate financial risks and remain sustainable
- Contribute to profit increase and departmental cost reduction
