Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Finance Intern position, you should:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Accounting Support

  • Record and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
  • Assist with intercompany billing and invoice tracking
  • Use ERP platforms to support documentation and financial coding
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems

2. Admin and Finance Ops

  • Reconcile petty cash and company credit card transactions
  • Help with archiving, contract summaries, and updating exchange rates
  • Perform data entry and support daily finance operations

3. Project Finance Support

  • Assist with financial tracking for ongoing business and engineering projects
  • Support the preparation of project-related purchase orders
  • Participate in document control and ERP workflow processes

4. Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Update weekly financial trackers and assist in report creation
  • Support dashboard development using Power BI
  • Contribute to budget analysis and monitoring of cost variances
  • Learn from senior finance staff and get involved in basic forecasting tasks
