During the Draughtperson Learnerships, trainees will:
- Produce CAD drawings according to Sasol standards
- Update statutory mine plans, including Miner/Working Plans, Ventilation Plans (Reg 17), Section Plans, Colliery Plans, and Escape Routes
- Apply correct symbology, naming conventions, scales, and legends
- Support CAD/GIS dataset creation and spatial data handling
- Follow safety regulations and support statutory compliance
- Participate in operational and continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements
Applicants for the Draughtperson Learnerships should have:
- High School / School Diploma
- CAD or draughting-related studies (advantageous)
- No prior experience required
- Strong learning skills, accountability, and teamwork
- Willingness to complete structured workplace training
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support senior draughtspersons with CAD drawings and plan updates
