Requirements
To qualify for the Dispensary Support Jobs, applicants should have:
- Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
- Minimum 50% in Pure Mathematics
- Minimum 50% in Life Science and/or Physical Science
- Ability to complete the SAPC proficiency assessment
- South African citizenship
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Willingness to complete the Basic Pharmacist Assistant learner programme

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the sale of Schedule 1 medicines under pharmacist supervision
- Support the compounding and preparation of non-sterile medicines
- Assist with unpacking, merchandising and organising dispensary stock
- Maintain cleanliness of the dispensary and OTC shelves
- Learn to interpret prescriptions accurately
- Assist with medication picking, packing and labelling
- Help manage stock levels and monitor medicine expiry dates
- Follow up on patient prescriptions and appointments
- Assist with chronic, HIV, AIDS and oncology medicine authorisations
- Receive and process dispensary stock according to company procedures
- Promote health information and provide quality customer service
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Dispensary Manager
