Minimum Requirements
Applicants for the Dis-Chem Cashier Job 2025 must have:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Minimum 6 months’ cashier or till operations experience
- Computer literacy, including MS Office
- Strong numerical skills
- Good command of the English language
- Basic customer service skills
- Availability to work retail hours

Key Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the Dis-Chem Cashier Job 2025, you will:
- Deliver excellent customer service in line with Dis-Chem policies
- Process all transactions accurately, including cash, card payments, vouchers, and loyalty cards
- Exchange merchandise and accept authorized returns
- Handle cash safely, including placing money in drop safes according to SOPs
- Report line voids, price changes, and suspicious behavior to management
- Participate in stock scanning and ensure all outgoing items are paid for
- Adhere to store security, health, and safety policies
- Maintain a professional relationship with customers and colleagues
- Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and store procedures
