Position Details
- Position: Dispatch Clerk (YES4Youth Programme)
- Company: Ctrack
- Programme Duration: 12 months
- Start Date: 01 May 2026
- Stipend: R5000 per month
- Location: Must reside close to the workplace

Requirements
- Must be unemployed youth aged between 18 and 29
- Must not have previously participated in the YES4Youth initiative
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must live close to the workplace
- Must have no criminal record
- Must be available to start on 01 May 2026
- Highest qualification must be Grade 12
- Relevant qualifications will be an added advantage
Skills Required
The YES4Youth Programme Dispatch Clerks requires candidates with the following skills and competencies:
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to identify and solve dispatch-related issues
- Basic computer literacy, including:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Warehouse systems (SAP, Sage Pastel, Accpac – advantageous)
- Physical ability to handle and pack boxes
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the YES4Youth Programme Dispatch Clerks include:
- Picking and preparing items for dispatch according to orders
- Verifying quantities, part numbers, and documentation
- Ensuring correct packaging and accurate labelling
- Coordinating with couriers, drivers, and logistics teams
- Meeting daily dispatch deadlines
- Reporting delays, shortages, or discrepancies
- Preparing dispatch documentation and delivery notes
- Capturing dispatch data on systems or spreadsheets
- Maintaining organised shipment records
- Conducting quality checks before dispatch
- Reporting damaged or incorrect stock
- Communicating with internal departments on urgent deliveries
- Supporting customer service through accurate order handling
- Assisting with warehouse organisation and housekeeping
- Supporting stock counts when required
- Handling goods safely according to guidelines.
