  • Open nationwide in South Africa, across all provinces: Gauteng, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Free State, Mpumalanga, North West, Northern Cape, and Limpopo.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the Truworths Learnership, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
  • A genuine passion for fashion and retail
  • Willingness to learn and complete assessments
  • Good communication skills
  • No experience required – just your dedication!

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Ability to handle customer queries
  • Good problem-solving and listening skills
  • Willingness to follow retail and merchandising standards

Key Duties and Responsibilities

During the Truworths Learnership, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working a minimum of 120 hours in-store
  • Assisting customers in finding merchandise
  • Performing sales and service desk operations
  • Merchandising the store according to MBP principles
  • Handling payments and transactions via POS systems
  • Opening new customer accounts
  • Preventing stock losses and ensuring security
  • Building lasting relationships with customers
