Requirements
To qualify for the Sales Assistant Jobs, applicants should have:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Computer literacy
- Higher education qualification (advantageous)
- 1–2 years of retail experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of retail practices
- Demonstrated customer service experience

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers with product selection and recommendations
- Maximise sales through upselling and cross-selling techniques
- Promote available payment options including PAYFLEX, PayJustNow and Happy Pay
- Maintain professional grooming and represent the GALXBOY brand
- Assist with visual merchandising, pricing, tagging and replenishment of stock
- Maintain stockroom organisation and cleanliness
- Monitor stock levels and report best sellers or shortages
- Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system
- Support housekeeping and daily store operations
- Follow attendance procedures and store operational guidelines
