The Polokwane Learnerships 2025, offered in partnership with Mahube Training & Development, give unemployed young South Africans a chance to gain valuable work experience and qualifications. This 12-month programme is open to residents of the Polokwane Municipality area. If you’re between the ages of 18 and 45 and ready to grow, this is your moment to shine.

About the Programme

The Polokwane Learnerships offer NQF-aligned training in various technical and service fields. Each programme includes both classroom learning and hands-on workplace experience, setting you up for future job opportunities.

Position Details

  • Job Title: Learnership Trainee
  • Type: Full-time Learnership (12 months)
  • Location: Polokwane Municipality, Limpopo

Available Learnerships

  • Ref:01 – Learnership: Electrical Engineering NQF Level 2 (15 learners) – Grade 10 with Maths
  • Ref:02 – Learnership: Water and Wastewater Treatment NQF Level 2 (15 learners) – Grade 12
  • Ref:03 – Learnership: Water and Wastewater Reticulation NQF Level 2 (15 learners) – Grade 12
  • Ref:04 – Learnership: Landscape NQF Level 3 (30 learners) – Grade 12

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Polokwane Learnerships, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Be aged between 18–45 years
  • Reside within Polokwane Municipality
  • Be currently unemployed
  • Not have taken part in any previous Learnership or ARPL programme

  • Pass security vetting if shortlisted

  • Detailed CV
  • Signed covering letter (quote relevant Learnership and Ref No)
  • Certified ID copy
  • Certified copies of qualifications
  • Proof of residence from an authorized traditional leader or municipal rates & taxes (must be stamped)
