Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with Maths and Science
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proof of residence and high school attended
- Ability to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate
- Complete a Dover Assessment as part of recruitment

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team and under supervision
- Good communication skills
- Basic understanding of mining processes (advantageous)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1.Mining Technical Support Learnership
- Assist with geology, survey, and sampling activities
- Support drilling, mapping, and core logging
- Capture and deliver sampling data
2.Mineral Processing Learnership
- Assist with plant operations and sampling
- Participate in improvement projects and problem-solving
- Monitor plant operations under supervision
3.Laboratory Practice Learnership
- Support lab staff with daily tasks
- Collect and prepare samples
- Assist with basic lab tests and analysis
All Programs
- Attend safety inductions and follow mine/lab protocols
- Maintain clean tools, equipment, and laboratory
- Record daily tasks and report to supervisor
- Show professionalism, punctuality, and willingness to learn
Important Notes
- Learnerships are only for residents of John Taolo Gaetsewe District (ages 18–35)
- All candidates must submit proof of residence, certified qualifications, and valid driver’s license
- Dover Assessment is required for all applicants
- Learnerships provide hands-on experience and practical training
