Hastings Direct is offering the Hastings Learnership 2025, a 12-month structured Programme designed to provide unemployed youth with workplace experience in the Financial and Insurance sector. Successful applicants will enter into a fixed-term Learnership agreement (not an employment contract) and receive a stipend of R12,000. This Programme is ideal for candidates with Matric and basic computer literacy, who are eager to develop professionally in a dynamic, vibrant environment.

    • Friday to Monday: 9 hours
    • Saturday: 8 hours
    • Sunday: 5 hours
    • 2 weekdays off (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)
    • 1 day per week dedicated to full qualifications training on-site
  • Public Holidays: Work scheduled if applicable, except UK holidays

Minimum Requirements

  • South African citizen.
  • Matric certificate.
  • Computer literate (MS Office).
  • Aged between 18–35 years.
  • Not previously on an INSETA Learnership.
  • Unemployed for the past 6 months.
  • No prior work experience required.

  • Support the company in daily operational tasks while learning industry best practices.
