Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Finance Internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Must be unemployed, aged 18 to 35, and available for the full internship period
  • Must be eligible to work in South Africa

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the Finance Internship, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing financial data captured on the Kwantu system
  • Verifying supporting documents such as invoices and timesheets
  • Assisting with preparation and organisation of payment packs
  • Performing data entry, document control, and filing
  • Supporting financial audits and ensuring compliance readiness
  • Helping the Finance Officer with monthly finance tasks and reporting
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
