Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum: NQF Level 6 in Business Administration or Information Systems/Technology
- Ideal: NQF Level 7 in Business Administration or Information Systems/Technology
Experience:
- 1 year administrative experience (required)
- Experience in an educational institution is an advantage
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to manage multiple queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Proficiency in FreshCaller or similar platforms
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Friendly, empathetic, and professional approach
- Familiarity with student administration processes
- Adaptability and willingness to improve
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Call Handling
- Handle student calls professionally as the first point of contact
- Log and resolve student queries as a Customer Services Agent
- Escalate unresolved issues when necessary
- Record and analyze frequent concerns to improve service
Ticket Resolution
- Resolve helpdesk tickets promptly within SLA
- Communicate clearly with students during the resolution process
- Collaborate with other departments for complex issues
- Keep system updated and generate performance reports
Customer Service Excellence
- Represent Rosebank College as a Customer Services Agent who cares
- Address concerns while upholding the brand’s reputation
- Go the extra mile to assist and resolve issues
- Contribute to student satisfaction through excellent service
Knowledge & Continuous Learning
- Participate in training and team updates
- Stay current on institutional changes, tools, and deadlines
- Help develop FAQs and knowledge base documents
- Suggest improvements in customer support processes
