Job Overview

Shoprite is looking for ambitious students to join as a Shoprite Co-Op Student Internships 2025 2025 in the Fixtures, Fittings & Equipment team. This temporary role provides hands-on experience for students pursuing diplomas in Engineering, Procurement, Building, or related fields.

As a Co-Op Student Internships 2025 , you will gain exposure to administrative tasks, supplier management, project coordination, and quality control in a professional retail environment. This programme allows students to build essential skills while contributing to real store projects.

  • Job Purpose: Support the Fixtures, Fittings & Equipment team with administrative and operational tasks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Studying towards a Diploma in Engineering, Procurement, Building, or related field
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Familiarity with technical drawings (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations (desired)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the Co-Op Student Internships 2025, your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with project teams to determine fixture and fitting requirements
  • Ordering and tracking delivery of materials from suppliers
  • Conducting site visits when necessary
  • Preparing cost estimates and assisting in budget tracking
  • Ensuring installations comply with specifications and standards
  • Troubleshooting installation issues and performing quality control
  • Maintaining the divisional SharePoint site and enforcing documentation standards
  • Supporting day-to-day administrative tasks and project coordination
