Minimum Requirements
Essential:

- Managing cash flow responsibly, ensuring all money is safely kept in the till
- Authorising line voids and price changes in consultation with supervisors
- Processing purchases, including cash, bank cards, vouchers, and other accepted payment forms
- Handling loyalty cards for Dis-Chem’s accelerator partners (e.g., Discovery Health, Medihelp, Momentum Multiply, ABSA Rewards, eBucks)
- Placing cash in drop safes as per SOPs and safeguarding personal login codes
- Monitoring outgoing stock/items and scripts to prevent losses
- Reporting suspicious behaviour, customer complaints, or compliments to management
- Maintaining accuracy, speed, and professionalism at the checkout
- Following all store security policies and procedures
