- Duration: As per MQA Learnership agreement

Selected candidates will be required to sign a Learnership Agreement registered with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Boilermaker Learnership in Gauteng, applicants must meet the following academic and technical criteria:
- Grade 12 with passes in:
- Pure Mathematics (not Maths Literacy)
- Physical Science
- English
OR
- N2 Certificate with:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Two relevant trade-related subjects
OR
- NCV Engineering Certificate at NQF Level 4 with 7 subjects
OR - Technical Grade 11 with relevant trade subjects
OR - Relevant N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S, or N stream)
- A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Strong interest in engineering and mechanical processes
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Commitment to completing the learnership
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in industrial settings
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the Boilermaker Learnership in Gauteng, selected candidates will be expected to:
- Participate in structured theoretical and practical training modules
- Assist qualified boilermakers in day-to-day operations
- Learn to fabricate, assemble, and repair steel components
- Comply with workplace safety regulations
- Maintain training records as per MQA requirements
