Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Training in asset management, codification, and/or procurement is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of MS Office packages.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, reliability, tact, and discretion.

Knowledge & Skills Required

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide provisioning administration services to support operational requirements.
  • Determine needs and meet supply demands.
  • Maintain documentary control over goods, equipment, materials, facilities, and services.
  • Receive, distribute, preserve, and repack stock for safe storage.
  • Issue and finalize vouchers and prepare receipt vouchers.
  • Register demands on stock sub-accounts using CALMIS MMS procedures.
  • Control warehouse stock, maintain accurate registers, charts, and record books.
  • Update directives, acts, regulations, and manuals relevant to provisioning.
  • Draft and process letters, notices, memoranda, and submissions.
  • Support internal services including accounting, transport, and depot administration.

  • Provide clerical and administrative support for logistics documentation.
  • Allocate document identification numbers and control revision levels.
  • Load data onto logistics databases from data-capturing forms.
  • Oversee document release and secure destruction of redundant classified documentation.
  • Assist with physical audits of records and distribution registers.
  • Monitor and track document movements.
  • Ensure proper management of logistical records and operational efficiency.
