Requirements
To qualify for the Millwright Apprenticeships, applicants should have:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Red Seal Trade Tested Artisan qualification
- N5 qualification
- Experience in an FMCG environment
- Canning and bottling environment experience (advantageous)
- Experience conducting safety inspections and implementing corrective actions
- Driver’s licence (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities
- Execute pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs
- Perform planned maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Install, inspect, test and repair MCCs, electrical circuits and wiring systems
- Install and commission machinery and equipment
- Align and calibrate machinery for safe and efficient operation
- Maintain health and safety standards within the work area
- Report maintenance activities and technical issues to management
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed
- Support engineering projects and technical improvements
- Travel to other Premier sites when required for project exposure
