Requirements
To qualify for the Frontshop Assistant Jobs, applicants should have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or Senior Certificate
- 0–6 months retail work experience
- 1 year retail experience (advantageous)
- Certification in Retail Business Management (advantageous)
- Ability to work retail hours
- South African citizenship
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities
- Replenish shelves and maintain merchandise displays
- Monitor product expiry dates and rotate stock
- Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases
- Process payments, refunds and loyalty card transactions
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory counts
- Report damaged, expired or low stock to management
- Load and off-load stock when required
- Maintain storeroom organisation and housekeeping standards
- Follow Dis-Chem policies, health and safety procedures, and operational standards
