Key Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately using the Dis-Chem operating system
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Receive and process cash, cards, vouchers, coupons and other approved payment methods
- Process loyalty programme transactions, including Discovery, Momentum Multiply, Medihelp, Legacy Lifestyle, ABSA Rewards and eBucks
- Handle authorised refunds and merchandise exchanges
- Ensure accurate cash flow management and safe cash handling
- Report suspicious activities to management
- Assist customers with product and store-related queries
- Stay informed about current promotions and sales campaigns
- Follow Dis-Chem security policies and standard operating procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of daily takings and till operations
- Ensure all outgoing merchandise is correctly scanned and paid for
