Requirements

To qualify for the Process Technician Learnerships applicants should have:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • S4/S5 completed with all theoretical subjects in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • No bursary obligations
  • Recent proof of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) confirmation from the institution
  • Certified copies of academic records, Matric certificate, and South African ID
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management abilities
  • Ability to learn quickly and think analytically
  • Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on safety and quality

Advantageous Qualifications and Experience

The following will be advantageous:

  • Diploma, BTech, or BEng Tech in Chemical or Industrial Engineering
  • 1–2 years’ experience in soya or sunflower crushing plants
  • Experience within edible oil extraction environments
  • Knowledge of Siemens PCS7 SCADA systems
